CONTRACT PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE APPLYING TO THE SHOW!!!
Dates: Show Time: Saturday, November 14, 10am – 4pm and Sunday, November 15, 11am – 4pm Set-up: Friday, November 13, 5pm – 8pm. Saturday, November 14, 7:30am – 9:30am Tear down: Sunday, November 15, 4pm – 7pm
Location: American Legion Hall 449, Marysville 299 Huron Blvd. (south of Gratiot Ave.) Application: 1.Exhibitors must send 3 photos (2 of your items, 1 of you actually working on items). Exhibitors will only be allowed to sell items mentioned on their application. APPLICATIONS WITHOUT PHOTOGRAPHS WILL NOT BE ACEPTED! 2.Deadline for applications is Sept. 1, or until show is filled. If you apply before July 1, you can subtract $10 from your booth fee. 3.Please include 2 self-addressed stamped business size envelopes, with your application. 4.Payment must be made in full and submitted with your application, to reserve your space. If paying by PayPal (
[email protected]) your application will not be complete until notification that funds have been deposited. 5.There will be NO REFUNDS once your application is accepted. That includes no shows!
Jurying: 6.Jury selection will be done weekly, and you will be notified no later than 2 weeks after. 7.If you are not selected for this year’s show, you will receive a refund, 8.The Jury Committee will only accept applications from exhibitors who offer variety, quality and original work.
Exhibitor: 9.Each Exhibitor is responsible for collecting and paying their own Michigan Sales Tax. 10.Exhibitors' vehicles are to be parked in vendor parking only. Location will be sent with accepted letter. 11.Exhibitors can unload at the door, but then have to move their vehicles before setting up. 12.Each item must be handmade by the exhibitor. No commercially crafted items, imports, kits, items made from kits, etc. allowed; this includes Buy-Sell (ex: mass produced), retail or home parties. If found, you will be told to put item away or leave. the show. Staff has the final say on what is appropriate or in violation of this contract. 13.We ask that each Exhibitor donate 1 item from their booth to be used as a door prize for visitors. Thank you! 14.Exhibitors must arrive during set-up times (listed above). Booths must be ready for business 30 minutes before show opens. 15.Burning candles, smoking, incense or other items are not allowed in the show room, according to the local fire marshal. 16.NO EARLY PACK UP! Anyone tearing down or packing up during show hours will be refused a spot in future shows. There will be a drawing among those exhibitors who stay to the end. Winner gets free booth at next year’s show. 17.Booths must be open, clean and staffed during show hours. No chairs, items or tables are allowed outside your assigned spot.
Misc.: 18.One 8'x30” table and two chairs are provided. Please indicate on your application if you need them. Additional tables are $5. 19.Tables must be covered and skirted on all exposed sides. Skirting must reach to the floor. 20.You can only use tape on the walls, provided all residue is removed afterwards. Nothing is allowed to hang from the ceiling. 21. Electricity is available on a very limited basis, and only for the booths along the walls. Cost is $10. Please indicate on your application if you need it and we will try to accommodate you. You must bring your own extension cords (heavy duty, 3 prong). 22.If we have a cancellation for the Show, we will attempt to fill the space from our waiting list. Vacancies are dependent upon the craft category of the canceled booth, and will be filled accordingly. 23.Staff reserves the right to make final interpretations of all conditions.
We will make every attempt to accommodate your wishes; however, nothing is guaranteed. Please sign and mail bottom portion only with application. I acknowledge and agree to abide by all rules and regulations. Furthermore, I understand and agree to my name, business name and any photos submitted by me, being used for promotional purposes. I also agree that staff and/or American Legion 449 will not be held liable for theft prior to or during the show, damages to my merchandise, personal property or myself, or for loss or injury caused by products sold or exhibited by Exhibitors. Insurance for such loss, damages, or injury shall be the sole responsibility of each Exhibitor at their own cost.
