ANNEXURE -III SCOPE OF WORK: The description of the services for the Clinic at site is as given below: a) b)

Doctor-MBBS Medical Attendant

Doctor-MBBS 1. Doctor should be MBBS from reputed institute with valid registration from All India Medical Council. 2. Doctor has to report at site clinic every day at 09:30 a.m. 3. Doctor will see the patient in the clinic only. In case of emergency, he has to go outside to visit the patient. 4. The ambulance will be available for 24 hours under Doctor’s supervision. 5. Doctor will get one day weekly off i.e. Sunday. In case of emergency or some important work, he has to be available even on Sundays. 6. Salary of the doctor will be paid through the contractor. Salary will be deducted if he/she is absent except Sundays (other holidays as published will also be applicable). Doctor should sign the attendance register daily. 7. The medicines are to be checked & verified by the doctor and record the medicines in the stock book / register. 8. The list of required medicines is to be given by the doctor on monthly basis, except for some emergency cases. 9. The patients register is to be maintained by the doctor daily and report to admin department at every evening about the patients’ attendance. 10. The services can be terminated immediately if found undesirable at the discretion of the company. 11. Doctor will be responsible for the patient about his symptoms whether it is curable in clinic or it is emergency case, need to be referred to hospital. 12. Doctor can be called at any time in 24 hours, in case of emergency. 13. Doctor should remain in regular touch with Admin Department and give details of day to day activities held in clinic. 14. Conveyance of doctor shall be in the scope of contractor.

Medical Attendant: 1. Medical attendant should be well qualified & should have minimum one year experience from reputed hospital. 2. Scope of work includes performing duties to prepare and assists doctors during clinic time and follow up doctor’s order carefully and satisfactory. 3. Attending emergency duties at any time as and when called for.

4. He/she should be able to handle the overall clinic as duty register, clinic condition its cleanliness & other day to day activities. 5. Medical attendant has to record the name of patients per day in register. 6. He/she should be able to do first aid in emergency. He/She should call the doctor in emergency, if case is serious. 7. There should be three medical attendant divided in three shifts for 24 hours i.e. 8 hours each. 8. He/she should have the basic knowledge of the medicines & clinic activities in general. 9. The wages will be paid through the contractor and will be based on daily presence. 10. The services can be terminated immediately if found undesirable at the discretion of the company. 11. Medical attendant should obey the doctor’s instructions and maintain good discipline. There should be mutual understanding between both the doctor & Attendant. 12. Medical attendant will take care of the medicines in stock, the patients, and every day doctors necessary requirements. 13. Medical attendant will maintain the daily register of medicines distributed and should check the stock of medicines and other necessary items of clinic as stationary items etc. As there is some requirement he should inform the doctor immediately. 14. The medicines or other clinic items should be strictly used in clinic only. No misuse of medicines and other items is permitted. 15. The medicines should be only given to the patients on doctor’s prescriptions and to the patient whom doctor recommends. 16. Medical attendant should know the first aid in emergency & should be able to give general medicines in absence of doctor. 17. Any wrong use of medicines is found, the necessary action will be taken against the Medical Attendant. 18. Medical attendant will inform the stock of medicines to doctor on day to day basis so that the medicines can be ordered as soon as the stock decreases. 19. The services can be terminated immediately if found undesirable at the discretion of the company. 20. Conveyance of Medical Attendant shall be in the scope of contractor.

Medical Attendant should have basic knowledge & practical experience of below points. a) Should be able to handle emergency at the site independently. b) Should have complete knowledge of first aid to include:(i)

Wound dressing & bandages.

(ii)

Stitching of the wound.

(iii)

Basic knowledge of medicine prescription.

(iv)

Use of oxygen cylinder.

(v)

Handling & use of injection syringe. Page 2 of 4 

(vi)

Setting & anchoring broken bones.

(vii)

Resuscitation & recovery of a casualty.

(viii)

Use of anti snake bites injections.

(ix)

Mouth to mouth breathing procedure.

(x)

Recording of blood pressure / body temperature etc.

(xi)

Fist aid after stroke.

(xii)

Revival of electrocuted patients.

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Agency cannot deploy labor/worker, who have not attained the age of 18 years. 2. No such person should be deployed who, A) Has been punished by court. B) Is involved in antinational/antisocial/illegal activities. 3. Contactor must ensure that all the workers must wear uniform during their duty hours. Safety: • •

Where safety equipment is required have to be provided by agency for which EPMPL will not make extra payment. In case of any accident of contractors’ worker during working hours, agency would be fully responsible for that and bear all the expenses towards treatment; compensation etc. is in the scope of contractor. Penalty Clause: a) Misbehavior of worker with patients will be viewed seriously and action will be taken. Instructions given by EPMPL or his representative have to be followed strictly and in case of violation, penalty as per discretion of EPMPL would be imposed. b) Even after 3 warnings if the work is not done properly the contract may be terminated on a notice of 15 days. c) The entire instance attracting penalty shall be intimated on same day or next working days in following format to the contractor/site representative. The decision of EPMPL shall be full and final in case of penalty. It may be noted

that repeated instances default / penalties without remedial action taken by the contractor may be liable to termination of contract.
