University Education should be interpreted as the provision of an holistic learning experience for students
Learning through the academic curriculum (classroom activities) and co-curricular curriculum (out-of-classroom activities)

Characteristics of an outcome-based approach
A clear articulation of the intended learning outcomes at the institution, program, and course levels.
