[email protected] Abstract This paper explores Chinese, Indian and Japanese cultural perspectives in education and its impact on students’ study choice and career development. It shows that Chinese, Indian and Japanese share similar cultural value and perspectives in education. Family plays important role on students’ choice making and financial support. In Asian society, degree qualification is important asset for a graduate and a family and is perceived as better future. It argues that education development in China, India and Japan is driven by trend of knowledge economy and social impact. This paper examines the role of education in Chinese, Indian and Japanese societies and history, culture, and economic development impact on its education system and developments.
