Designation : Project Engineer Period : Apr 2005 - Apr 2007 Synopsis : Embedded Application Network interface unit (NIU) for Real Time System of CMS_SNF ship (Combat Management System - CMS for Indian Navy) This network consists of NIU (network interface unit) with two types of communication cards, one to connect external non-ATM equipment called line card and the other is a Processor Card (called SRC), which collects data from all line cards, process and converts it to ATM format for delivery to ATM network. The software said above resides on the Processor Card of NIU unit. Responsibilities : Preparation of Test & Validation Plan (TVPL) and Test & Validation Procedure (TVPR) based on SRD (Software Requirement Document) and SyRS (System Requirement Specification).
