American
History
Unit
6
Project
1960s‐1980s
The
Process
You
will
be
assigned
a
specific
event
or
person
to
research
and
report
on
from
the
time
period
in
United
States
history
of
1960s
to
1980s.
You
need
to
do
research
on
what
caused
the
event
or
brought
the
person
into
a
historical
perspective,
exactly
what
the
event
was
in
detail,
and
the
effects
of
the
event
or
person
on
American
history.
After
finding
the
research,
it
is
now
time
to
present
the
information.
You
are
going
to
be
presenting
the
information
in
a
blog
form.
There
are
a
variety
of
ways
to
organize
the
information
on
a
blog;
however,
the
easiest
for
people
not
familiar
with
blogging
is
to
create
pages
on
the
blog.
Pages
are
basically
like
web‐pages
you
would
find
on
most
websites.
In
addition
to
creating
the
blog,
you
will
be
creating
an
online
multiple
choice
quiz
for
others
to
take
after
reading
through
your
blog.
When
done
with
everything,
you
will
have
an
oral
review
of
the
information
with
Mr.
Kampmann.
This
will
be
a
large
part
of
your
overall
grade.
Web
Information
You
can
get
a
majority
of
your
research
online.
Sites
Mr.
K
recommends
end
in
.gov
or
.edu.
You
may
not
use
Wikipedia,
as
the
information
covered
is
too
close
in
history
for
Wikipedia
to
be
objective.
Other
sites
that
would
be
useful
would
be
online
newspapers.
To
assist
in
the
creation
of
your
blog,
on
Mr.
K’s
blog
is
a
couple
helpful
videos
on
creating
blogs.
Mr.
K
has
also
created
his
own
video
going
through
the
steps
of
creating
a
blog
and
quiz.
Mr.
K
will
information
you
of
the
blog
site
that
you
will
log
into
to.
The
site
to
log
into
your
blog
is
http://dhsprojects.blogs.mu/wp‐login.php?loggedout=true.
This
will
also
be
linked
on
Mr
K’s
blog.
