AmbITion Risk Assessment This risk assessment has been developed by Manchester Digital Development Agency for the AmbITion project. It should be completed at the start of the project by ALL organisations that are going to be participating in the project.

SECTION F. EXPERIENCE Past experience is important in assessing whether an organisation will be able to successfully complete a project, even if the new project is on the surface very different from past work. What experience has the organisation in running projects in the past? (e.g. working with external consultants, specifying workplans, day-to-day project management etc)

What strengths has the organisation shown in running similar projects in the past? (e.g. staff skills, organisational attitudes)

What problems has the organisation encountered running projects in the past? (e.g. lack of specific skills, time & resource constraints)

SECTION G. EXPECTATIONS Although we will talk about the “scope” of the project at a later date, it will be useful to get some idea of your initial expectations.

What visions do you have of a digital future?

What will AmbITion do for you? What difference might it make? How might change your organisation?

What sorts of problems does IT solve? What don't you think this programme will solve? What are other stakeholders’ expectations of the project? (your audiences, Arts Council officers)
