AWARDS & RECOGNITION Many awards and recognition have been received from the US military and civilian organizations SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS In my last assignment with the Army, I was charged with the responsibility of managing the careers of over 1,700 linguist, both civilian and Army stationed in locations as diverse as Germany and Japan, and points in between, to include their language maintenance and professional development. During this period I also managed the local hire contracts for translators and interpreters in Somalia, Haiti and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Result: Was able to support staffing in countries around the world As Program Manager for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (7.2 bil. contract) Orientation Program, EDS awarded the “Top-Five Contractor Award” to my team for providing added value quality service to both the customer and EDS. Our team was chosen out of 215 sub-contractors. Result: Top contractor for EDS’s Navy/Marine Corps Internet project

Designed and managed an orientation program that provided a seamless transition for the Navy’s 285,000 civilian and military personnel into a new centralized intranet system. Result: Effectively connected the military and civilian population During five years with the University of Massachusetts provided quality adult education to an average 500 students per year. Result: 2500 students were educated in Finance and Accounting In student evaluations from the Defense Finance Accounting Service, with an average of 22 classes a year, received an average of 6.98 out of a possible 7.0 rating scale. Result: Became the "Subject Matter Expert" for all accounting courses and the prime trainer for all “Train the Trainer” courses. I was an integral part of a the successful writing, editing and delivery team that provided the Defense Finance Accounting service with its first Chief Financial Officer Course. Result: Implemented the first course ever for Chief Financial Officers Led a joint service effort that generated over 1200 reports during an intelligence mission in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Result: Better Intelligence for U.S. Army Evaluated course curriculum for the Defense Threat Reduction Analysis University for a distance learning transition. Result: Reduction of overhead in answer budgetary constraints
