1. Sukhadev purchased ten hot pressed plywood flush doors. The sale price of one piece is Rs. 1125 and the rate of CST is 4%. Find the net selling price of 10 pieces. 2. The marked price of a taxable article was Rs. 4000, which is sold to the first dealer at the same rate. He sold it to the second dealer for Rs. 4240. Find M-VAT at every stage of trading at the rate of 4%. 3. D. Snehal purchased electric wire and tubes for Rs. 36,608, which includes 12% discount on its list price and 4% Central Sales Tax on the remaining price. Find the list price of electric wire and tube. 4. A TV set is bought for Rs. 17,500 and sold for Rs. 19700 respectively by a dealer. The rate of MVAT is 12.5%. Find VAT to be paid by the dealer with subtraction method.

Find the VAT at every stage of trading at the rate of 4%. 4. Hirachand purchased goods worth Rs. 2350, and he paid Rs. 50 as other charges. He sells the same product to Laxmibai for Rs. 2600. She then sells the purchased product to Maganlal for Rs. 2800. Find the M-VAT at the rate of 4% Laxmibai has to pay.

1. A motor cycle production company sells one piece of motorcycle to the first sales dealer at the cost of Rs. 30,800. He sells it to the sub-dealer for Rs. 34,000 when the sub -dealer sells it for Rs. 36,000. Find the M-VAT to be paid at every stage of trading at the rate of 4%. 2. The list price of an offset machine is Rs. 4,50,000. The rate of central sales tax is 4%. Find the sales tax and the selling price of the machine. 3. Ajay and Vishwas together bought twenty wrist – watches to donate to the students in Mahatma Phule Hostel. They paid Rs. 20,800 for it. If the rate of Central Sales Tax is 4%, find the list price of one piece of wrist – watch. 4. A mobile is sold to wholesale dealer for Rs. 3000. He sold the same set to a sub – dealer for Rs. 3200 and a customer purchased it from the second dealer for Rs. 3300. Find M-VAT at every stage of trading at the rate of 12.5%.
