Republicans Back In Action!

Janice Armstrong January 20, 2009 Today on January 20th 2009, Republicans are back into action. Eight years ago, republicans were shattered because of George Bush. George Bush’s drug usage was disclosed to the public and since he got into an accident which resulted in him getting paralyzed, he couldn’t run for presidency. Republicans were out of shape and had no idea what to do, and then thats where the voters chose Al Gore to run for presidency. For the last eight years Al Gore has been running for presidency and when election took place in November 2008, things changed. The citizens of America chose republicans over democratic. In the

election Joe Lieberman who belonged to the democratic party ran against John McCain who was a republican. The voting process was a very tough one, but since Electoral College votes didn’t make much of a difference everything was dependent on the popular votes. After the voting count, Lieberman had more electoral college votes while McCain received most of the popular votes. And when Texas’s votes came in, the result were in favor of John McCain. After eight years of democratic governing the country, now the republicans have come a long way and it is time for them to govern the country.

CELEBRATING 28 YEARS

Of a Proud American Structure That Has Lived with Us Through Ages [5]

A Word to President McCain from Chris Nelson, one of America’s brave soldiers.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on becoming the president of the U.S.A. It was indeed a very long way for you to come through, and now you still have a long way ahead of you to bring a ‘change’ in American. There is a lot of work pending in the office, but there is time and hopefully the change you are willing to bring in America will take place. In the past eight years America has been a country where we all soldiers felt proud of and we still are proud of. Now that its time for you to run your term, I just have a few concerns that I would like to point out.

My very first and major concern in Osama Bin Laden. A few years ago, during Al Gore’s presidency many of us troops went into the dangerous areas of Afghanistan where Osama was hiding and we took him out of there. We brought him alive to the USA and now he is in prison. My concern is that we will put him off to the side and think that he is just like any other prisoner, because he most certainly is not. He has tried to harm the country that you and I belong to, and he has tried to ruin our people both physically and spiritually. Please do give him much of your attention and take early action on what needs to be done about him. He cannot just stay in prison, but he needs to at least get some punishment for threatening us and trying to ruin our country.

Going to Afghanistan was indeed one of the hardest tasks in my and our other soldiers’ lives, and I just don’t want all our hard work to go in vain. President McCain you are now the person whom we look up to, you’re now our leader and we all will respect you as we would respect any other president. We are very much looking forward to your presidency, and I hope the best for you, for us and for our country. It is my hope that you will take my words into much consideration. Sincerely, Chris Nelson

Al Gore was one of the presidents who saved the country from its enemy. A few years ago many troops were sent to Afghanistan just to capture Osama. Troops from UK and Australia also supported the American troops. After long days of hard work as well as putting lives in danger, Osama is captured, and now is in jail.
