li ya wang 2949 meadow church road suwanee, ga 30024 ss#: 104-66-7411 account number ending in: 9958 dispute #: 0167636054485 hello, my name is li ya wang. i do not speak english very well, and a while ago, i saw an ad on the chinese newspapers for a vacation resort. my husband and i had wanted to take a short vacation to china, but i wasn't sure if my daughter wanted to go, but the person who sold us the tickets assured us that we would be able to exchange or refund the tickets for no additional charge. we called the resort on 1/20/07 (which was the day before we were supposed to depart) to refund our daughter's ticket because she had decided not to go, and they told us we couldn't refund it the day before the departure, which they had not told us before. the next day, we went to the airport, and when we got to the boarding gate, they told us the dates on the tickets were wrong and for the same date next month on 2/21/07. we had the tickets changed to the correct date to leave on 1/21/07 but they charged $449 per ticket, and they told us we could not refund or exchange it when we tried to dispute the charge. they also told us any future changes would be free of charge. i wanted to come back early towards the end of my vacation, and had my ticket changed for an earlier depature, and to my dismay, was charged $215 for that alteration. i believe this business takes advantage and scams customers who do not speak english well, and do not take responsibility for their actions. i am only willing to pay for the single $845 plane ticket, as i have not agreed to any of the other charges. if there are any other questions, feel free to call me at 678– 371-3033. 1 non-returnable ticket $845 2 date fixes on tickets $449 1 early departure $215
