ASAHI GLASS FRITS AND PASTES PRODUCT TYPES 

Fluxing Glasses: 

Help reduce the temperature which dielectric or other glass melt

Improve glass flow characteristics

Improve product densification

Sealing Glasses 

Provide hermetic glass seal for structure 

Usually high reliability electronic package, vacuum display product or sensors.

Glasses need to have similar CTE as package materials.

Need low atmospheric permeability

Thick Film Formulation Glasses 

Provides matrix for filler used in Hybrid IC pastes 

Fillers can include conductors, resistors, insulators and other materials.

Usually needs good acid, moisture and humidity resistance.

ASAHI GLASS FRITS AND PASTES PRODUCT TYPES 

Bonding Glasses 

Excellent CTE match to substrates.

Good thermal and mechanical shock resistance.

Good acid, humidity and moisture resistance.

Over-glaze Glasses 

AlN Glasses

Low Temperature Co-fire Ceramic Glasses: 

LTCC glasses can be the main component in low temperature (<1000oC) fired substrates. 

Can be used for lower fire products and reduce the need for precious metals in the conductor and termination materials.

Superior dielectric properties

Low loss of signal at high frequencies.

Excellent acid, moisture and humidity resistance.
