Introduction to Afghanistan Existed 350 years B.C. From 1747-1973 Afghanistan has monarchy background (226) years. Ahmad Shah Durani was the first king and Dawood Khan was the first
president of Afghanistan (1973). Tribes in Afghanistan (40% pashtun, 25.3% Tajik,18% Hazara, 6.3 % Uzbek, 2.5% Qizilbash and 6.9% others..). Agricultural country Through the history Afghanistan was occupied by many powers: 7. Great Britain( 1839-1842) by Amir dost Mohd Khan. 8. Soviet Union ( 1979-1989) by Mujahidin 9. Taliban (1996-Nov 2001) by Mujahidin and USA. 10. United States of America ( 11 sept 2001).
