DOMINICAN ACOLYTES RATIONALE Formation is a lifelong task. It is needed for the youth for them to be true Christians not only in words but in action. They can be formed to be responsible, committed and honest persons through the continuous formation, interaction and
even establishing their relationship with God through various activities. This year, the Dominican School of Calabanga continuously gives the acolytes the formation necessary for their human and spiritual need. This yearly program is designed to nurture and strengthen their faith and their commitment to serve, develop their potentials and equipped them with moral values that will guide them to be a good servant to the Lord. IDENTITY The Dominican Acolytes are mainly affiliated with the Our Lady of La Porteria Parish of the Archdiocese of Caceres. They are composed of 12 students who are serving in the school and their respective parishes and 5 students, both from elementary and secondary department who are under probation and formation. They voluntarily join the organization with the great desire to serve Jesus in the altar. OBJECTIVES The acolytes commit to improve academic studies, develop their talents and capabilities, serve Jesus responsibly in the altar and appreciate their gift of life. This will be realized through human and spiritual formation and other relevant activities that will foster unity, friendship and joy that will draw them closer to God.

DOMINICAN ACOLYTES RATIONALE Formation is a lifelong task. It is needed for the youth for them to be true Christians not only in words but in action. They can be formed to be responsible, committed and honest persons through the continuous formation, interaction and
even establishing their relationship with God through various activities. This year, the Dominican School of Calabanga continuously gives the acolytes the formation necessary for their human and spiritual need. This yearly program is designed to nurture and strengthen their faith and their commitment to serve, develop their potentials and equipped them with moral values that will guide them to be a good servant to the Lord. IDENTITY The Dominican Acolytes are mainly affiliated with the Our Lady of La Porteria Parish of the Archdiocese of Caceres. They are composed of 12 students who are serving in the school and their respective parishes and 5 students, both from elementary and secondary department who are under probation and formation. They voluntarily join the organization with the great desire to serve Jesus in the altar. OBJECTIVES The acolytes commit to improve academic studies, develop their talents and capabilities, serve Jesus responsibly in the altar and appreciate their gift of life. This will be realized through human and spiritual formation and other relevant activities that will foster unity, friendship and joy that will draw them closer to God.
