ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN E-BUSINESS & ITS CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT -Ch. Roshan Kumar Patro* - Anup Kumra** Abstract The present study describes how an entrepreneur acts as a trigger head to give spark to economic activity by his entrepreneurial decision. He plays a central role not only in the development of the ebusiness sector of a country but also in the development of the new e-business startup sector. Entrepreneurs are like gamblers and like any gambler, their chances of winning increases if they have the right card in hand. The role of entrepreneurship in economic development varies from economy to economy depending upon its material resources, industrial climate and the responsiveness of the political system to the entrepreneurial activities. Path breaking offering by entrepreneurs in the form of new goods and services result in new employment which can produce a cascading effect or virtuous circle in the economy. If we understand the benefit and drawback a balance approach to encourage the development of entrepreneurship will definitely result in a positive impact on economy and society.
