PHILOSOPHY Teaching is my passion! I will strive to create a safe, fun, and productive learning environment for all students. I will aim to make learning meaningful, engaging, relevant, authentic, and appropriate for the needs of all learners. A teacher's enthusiasm and conviction for learning is something that influences students' attitude toward education. Teaching is more than presenting information and ideas; it is inspiring, motivating, and encouraging students in all that they do – academically, emotionally, and socially. I comprehend the significant role I will play in each and every child’s life. My goal is to help students become problem solvers, lifelong learners, and independent thinkers by establishing a classroom based upon mutual respect, responsibility, and accountability. I am dedicated to establishing and maintaining high expectations for my students. I firmly believe that building relationships is the key to any child's success in my classroom. Teamwork is necessary between students and teachers, and among parents and teachers. In order to achieve a positive experience for all, I will encourage and promote parent involvement in education. I am an advocate for children and their right to have rich learning experiences.
