ABM RESEARCH (ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT)

Tomas Claudio Colleges Is a community-owned and community-based institution of learning In Eastern Rizal. It was founded on August 15, 1950 In honor of Tomas Claudio, a national hero from Morong, who died during the First World War tighting for democracy. The College was originally located in downtown Morong. The high school department was transferred in 1989, followed by the administrative group and the college department in 1993 and the elementary school in 1995 to the scenic and sprawling twelve-hectare campus at Sitio Taghangin about a kilometer from the poblacion. The College initially offered a two-year course leading to the title Associate in Arts. Other four-year degree courses, Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Science In Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Commerce were offered in 1964-1965 upon recognition by the government through the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS). Other programs subsequently offered were, BS in Accountancy, BSCS/IT, Bachelor of Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts and BS In Nursing. And Tomas Claudio Colleges is one of the schools who are offering Senior High School for the students who are graduating from Junior High School. They offer different tracks and strands that will help the students achieve their perspective careers and goals. The ABM strand is one of the strand that is in Academic track offer by Tomas Claudio Colleges. This strand is the second most enrolled strand in TCC. Tomas Claudio Colleges are very well known in Eastern Rizal in teaching of accountancy and business that’s why they are offering this strand. Now let’s focus what is ABM? ABM stands for (Accountancy, Business & Management) this strand focuses on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and all things that are accounted for ABM. It will help you to become more prepared and knowledgeable entering corporate world. ABM is perfect for those students who loves Marketing, Accountancy, Entrepreneurs, etc. In Tomas Claudio Colleges we have 9 sections of ABM. 4 in grade 11 and 5 in grade 12. The classrooms for the ABM students are airconditioned and it large that can roomed by 40 students per class with the better room it can help the stundents to perform well in class. The subjects that are under to the strand of ABM are (core and specialized subjects) . In the grade 11 we have the subjects of Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik,Business Ethics, Applied Economics Earth and Life Science,Filipino sa Piling Larangan, English for Academics Purposes, General Mathematics,Oral Communication, Physical Education & Health 1, Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business & Managemanet 1, Statistics and Probability, Physical Science,Practical Research 1, Principles of Marketing, Pagsuri at Pagbasa, Reading and Writing, Empowerment of Technologies & Physical Education & Health 2. In grade 12 the subjects that is taken in the 1st semester are. 21st Century Literature, Introduction to Philosophy, Media and Information Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Personal Development, Practical Research 2, Business Math, Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business, & Management 2, & Physical Education and Health 3. In the 2 nd semester we have the subjects of Work Immersion, Business Finance, Organizational & Management, Inquiry Investigation and Immersion, Contemporary Arts from the Region, Understanding Culture, Society, & and Politics, Disaster risk reduction and awareness & Physical Education and Health 4 The ABM has 3 clubs that is the Accountancy Club, Business Club and Management Club. The Month of ABM will be held from June to August and each student can pick two clubs Each Clubs will be having a different activitites for all the ABM students so that they may have some fun and to hone their skills. We also have the Educational Tour were the students from Senior High School are going out of the school to explore, to have some fun and to learn more. In the Month of February we have the Intramurals for Senior High School, all the sections from SHS will compete from different types of sports

( Ball games, Laro ng lahi, mind games, etc.). It is not just having fun but it also shows the skills of the student in playing different kinds of sports. The classrooms for the ABM students are airconditioned and it large that can roomed by 40 students per class with the better room it can help the stundents to perform well in class. The courses that is available after graduating in SHS are: In Accountancy you can take the course of BSA (Bachelor of Science in Accountancy).While in Business and Management you can take the course of Entrepreneurship, and BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) major in: Financial Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, etc. and other related business courses.
