Appropriate use of technology in class includes: • Usage of internet only for research use • Usage of classroom technology for project presentations • Usage of proper programs for classroom work, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other programs determined by the teacher Inappropriate use of Classroom technology: • Visit of adult sites • Social networking sites, such as; twitter, face book, my space, blogs, etc. • Visiting YouTube for not classroom related material • Listening to online music without teachers consent • Updating personal websites • Downloading programs • Visiting email • Vandalism of classroom technology • Stealing classroom technology Penalties for violation: Students in violation of these rules will face consequences in accordance with school policies.
