What is a blues song? What does it have to say? Is it about some sad things? Or. about a gloomy, rainy day?
Who does it have to touch? How should it make you feel? Should it be far-fetched? Or about, something real?
Should the words bring a tear? Or, should they make you smile? Or maybe, just tap your foot For just a little while?
How should it be played? Should it be soft and low? Maybe with a simple tune You think, you already know.
I could write a blues song But, doubt that it would sell Unless there is a record store Down in the depths of Hell!
