What is it? What does it do? Pet robot Called AIBO People started making this pet robot just for fun. It behaves like a normal pet.

Where is it? Was developed in Japan They are still producing them Sold more than 150.000 pet robots.

Who made it? Sony made AIBO It was designed by Katsura Moshino. Hajime Sorayama created the initial designs for the AIBO.

When did it start? On June 1st, 1999 The first example was sold on the internet and then it became very popular.

Why was it made? Was made just for fun Became very popular

How does it work? Works with Memory stick The Life AIBOware allows the robot to be raised from a puppy to an adult Needs many sensors

How much is it? costs approximately 2500$

Conclusion AIBO first pet robot by Sony costs $2.500 was made in Japan Sony sold more then 150.000 AIBO’s Suggestion: they should make it look more then a real animal not like a robot
