Surah al-Qadr (The Night of Power)
ِبِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surah al-Qadr (The Night of Power)
ِإِنّا أَن َزلْنَا ُه فِي لَ ْيلَةِ الْقَدْر [97:1] Surely We revealed it on the grand night.

ِوَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَ ْيلَةُ الْقَدْر [97:2] And what will make you comprehend what the grand night is?

ٍخيْرٌ مّنْ َألْفِ شَهْر َ ِلَيْلَ ُة الْقَدْر [97:3] The grand night is better than a thousand months.

ّلئِكَ ُة وَالرّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِ ْذنِ رَبّهِم مّن كُل َ َل الْم ُ ّتَنَز ٍأَمْر [97:4] The angels and Gibraeel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair,

ِطلَعِ الْفَجْر ْ َسَلَمٌ ِهيَ حَتّى م [97:5] Peace! it is till the break of the morning.
