September 30, 2009 General James L. Jones, USMC (Ret) National Security Advisor The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, DC 20500 Dear General Jones: Our three organizations were interested to read of your meeting regarding Sudan with Mr. Robert C. McFarlane. We appreciate your interest in these matters as the crisis in Sudan is urgent and constitutes a threat to global peace and security. However, we are skeptical of Mr. McFarlane's intentions. We would be reassured to know what other sources you are consulting in order to develop the Administration's policy regarding Sudan. To that end, we would be grateful if you would send us a list of meetings you have taken with outside groups and individuals on Sudan since January 20th, 2009. Thank you for your consideration. Appreciatively,

Jerry Fowler, Save Darfur Coalition President

John Norris, ENOUGH Executive Director

Sam Bell, Genocide Intervention Network Executive Director
