(or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created96:2 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: 96:3 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,96:4 He Who taught (the use of) the pen,96:5 Taught man that which he knew not. Then the revelation continued: 74:1 O thou wrapped up (in the mantle)! 74:2 Arise and deliver thy warning! 74:3 And thy Lord do thou magnify! 5:67 O Apostle! proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And God will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For God guideth not those who reject Faith. Died over battle of muttah?? Was a slave Iddat=The period of time a woman has to wait after separating from her husband Zaynab's wedding feast was also the occasion for another ayat of Qur'an to be sent down. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sacrificed a sheep and then commanded his servant, Anas, to invite the people to partake of it. After they had eaten, two men remained there after
the meal chatting. The Messenger of Allah went out and said goodnight to his other wives and then came back and the two men were still there chatting. It was very hard on the Prophet who did not like to criticize people directly, and so he waited patiently until they left. Then Allah sent down the following ayat which is known as "The Ayat of Hijab": 33:53 O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but God is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy God's Apostle, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in God's sight an enormity. 33:54 Whet One day, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was in the house of Aishah and the revelation came down to him upon which, he smiled and said Who will go to the house of Zaynab and give her the glad tidings that Allah has given her to me in marriage from the heaven? Salma the servant of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) went happily and informed Zaynab and she was overjoyed at the news and gave her the silver jewelry she was wearing to her. Thus Zaynab joined the Mothers of the Believers, being proud that Allah had betrothed her from the heaven and she would say to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) She said: “I cannot say anything until I have consulted my Allah." She performed Wudhu, said two rakaat of Salaat, and praye But after it became plain that the marriage would not work, Allah revelaed 33:37 Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of God and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear God." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which God was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear God. Then when Zayd had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary
(formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And God's command must be fulfilled In the very next verse, Allah continues: 33:38 There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what God has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of God amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of God is a decree determined. At first, the Messenger of Allah did not reveal to anyone what he already knew-which was that Allah had commanded him to marry Zaynab- because he feared that his people –especially the pagans-would say” “ Muhammad has married his son’s wife.” This was due to the fact that the Arabs had imposed upon themselves the prohibition of marrying the divorced wife of an adopted son, claiming that it was same as marrying the divorced wife of a real s Righteous god fearing sincere modest in character, pious Pious Kind to kin Generous 12,000 dirhams>>omar>>> large temptation…distributed it to her kinship May Allah show mercy, Died age of 50 in 20AH He is the most generous I have already prepare my shawl but Omar will send 1 again so gave it back to the poor/charity ADOPTION:--not allowed Mahram===unmarriageable kin Blood mahram=from ur own blood Brother Son Grandson PARENTS UNCLE MARRIAGE IN LAW=FATHER IN LAW BROTHER IN LAW=can marry/have to wear hejab
