What is meant by variation? 

Differences between organisms of the same species

What are the variation in humans? Characteristics that cause differences between human  Eg. Height, weight, hair colour, eye colour, skin colour etc. 

Two types Continuous variation – characteristics which show continuous change (quantitative). E.g. weight and height. Discontinuous variation – the differences in the character are distinctive (qualitative). E.g. blood group and fingerprint patterns.
