Approve the 2009-10 School Waiver Application that will reduce the school year from 178 instructional days to 176 days. This allows for two additional professional development days to be built into the school calendar.

Approve the acceptance of a $25,200.00 Ohio Department of Education Entry Year Teacher grant awarded to the Lakota Local School District and authorize the treasurer to establish the appropriate fund. Funds from this grant will be used to pay stipends to mentor teachers.
