Data Gathering in Solar Observation Exercise No. 1 I. Introduction (make your own) II. Objective (make your own) III. Materials IV. Procedure  Set-up the instrument over a control point  Designate another point as reference to the azimuth where vertical circle reading will be set into 00-00-00  turn the instrument telescope from the designated point to the direction of the sun  read and record the following parameters and data as indicated from Table 1  note: the interval between observation must not exceed two minutes  note: a series must not exceed 20 minutes  minimum of two series of observation will be observed
