PRIMARY ARCHITECTURE
Primary Architecture .In order to allow Lan Chat work properly the Local area network should either be in 1.
Domain.

Workgroup.
Computers with different workgroup or domain name can not be able to perform chat process. Systems can be allotted IP addresses or can also be used VIA Dynamic IPs. There can be one or more than one server in order to run the application. All the accounts will be maintained on the server, that will create a hash table. That consists of the following fields: 1. to. 2. from 3. message 4. time stamp Similarly offline messaging will also be maintained on the server. The message sent by client will be stored in the HASH Table. That can be later access by the target client when he will come online. Lan Messenger will also allow users to share smart icons like smiley, sad, joy etc with the other users, user will require to learn the smart icon code in order to use it.
