Other Useful Tools 1. Drag your most used Styles to your own custom Tool Palette. Drag from Style Manager (as long as the drawing file is saved that houses the Style) or drag from within a drawing just like adding a block to a Tool Palette.
2. Right-Click on a Palette Tool to change an existing object or convert linework to an object.

3. Content Browser is a visual way for finding content than Style Manager. It is also a big resource that gives you the advantage over AutoCAD users because you can make networked tool palettes or share tools and tool palettes between users. Be sure and check out Paul Aubin’s material on this topic.
My
Tips…
Use the Resources page at the end of this document to learn more. Check out other AU Content from this year or previous years. Start small. If you only use the generic walls, doors, and windows, it’s better than what you were doing with linework. Don’t reinvent. Try to find styles that will work for you OOTB or that you can modify only slightly. Set goals for what your next step with AutoCAD Architecture will be.
Enlist help. Don’t try to go it alone.

Resources You’ve just completed learning about basics that make up AutoCAD Architecture. There is a lot more to learn though:
1.
Autodesk website
Download available Styles from the Autodesk website. Use these to reverse engineer what makes up styles. This will help you to learn more about how styles are created and how you can create other objects with styles.
2.
Autodesk User Group International (AUGI) at AUGI.com.
Free membership, a great magazine, Forums (users helping users), and online training.
