FVR acknowledges that there is a primary legal responsibility given to all those in management and supervisory positions for the health and safety of people who work under their direction. Safety at workplace is both an individual and a shared responsibility. Everyone employed by FVR must ensure that their jobs are performed safely, without causing risk to themselves, their colleagues, customers or the community. FVR management is committed to: 

Complying with and keeping up-to-date with OHS legislation relevant to our business practice

Preventing injury and illness by providing a safe and healthy working environment

Effectively implementing OHS management plans and procedures

Setting, achieving and measuring OHS objectives

Identifying and assigning OHS administrative and operational responsibility appropriately

Taking regular consultation between management and employees, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers

Providing all FVR employees, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers with necessary information, training and appropriate supervision

Ensuring all employees, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers comply with FVR standards

Investigating and reporting all incidents so that deficiencies or weakness in FVR‘ OHS system can be identified and corrected

Employees, Contractors, and Sub-subcontractors are responsible for: 

Reporting to immediate supervisor any hazards encountered whilst at work

Complying with all OHS programmes being implemented by FVR and following safe work procedures

Participating in OHS consultation and training initiatives

Using personal protective equipment and clothing that is specified for their work and supplied by FVR

Visitors and contractors to FVR are expected to recognize and co-operate with our policy and commitment. Management seeks the co-operation of all employees, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in realizing these objectives and talking all steps at all times to create a healthy and safe work environment. FVR regularly reviews and improves its OHS policy and plans to take into account changes in work processes or legal requirements, and to ensure their compliance with the overall Company Management System and other obligations to which the Company subscribes.
