Win – win approach: a tactics in negotiation in which we try to adopt an approch – which benefits both the parties in negotiation (the best one).

Win – lose approach: here one person tries to win and defeat another – but other person also tries so, this is called win-lose approach (it is not good, replace it by win-win approach). Lose – lose approch: communication tectics, where both the parties loose due to withdrawal / adamancy etc. by both the parties. Example: a cheated customer doesn’t again come to the office of the comapany – both loose – customer & company. Compromise: communication tectics – where one person tries to help others too much or sacrifices too much - it is not sustainable.
