Student Profile Tom Schicks is a PhD Candidate with the Fire Management Systems Laboratory. His current research focuses on monitoring wildfire activity via space-borne thermal infrared detection. He previously worked for Alberta’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, FPInnovations Wildfire Operations Research, the Northern PeatFire Working Group, and the University of Guelph Agroforestry Research Group.
