Wine Country Shippers Terms & Conditions

You, the customer, are the owner of the wine and Wine Country Shippers is your designated agent to package and arrange transportation with a common carrier to deliver to an address specified by you. Wine may only be delivered to persons at least 21 years of age and the carrier will require a signature from that person.

Wine Country Shippers makes no representation relative to your right to import wine into your state or county. You, the customer, by completing the shipping order form, warrant that you are aware of and in compliance with the laws governing such shipment(s).

Wine Country Shippers assumes no responsibility for wine damaged due to weather extremes during transport. This can include leakage caused by heat, freezing, or corks pushing out of the necks of the bottles. Shipment insurance for lost or damage is available. The rate is $1.00 per $100 of declared value. It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to specify the declared value for coverage you wish to purchase. Unless otherwise specified in the comments section of the order, the declared value will be distributed equally for each bottle within the shipment.

Wine Country Shippers provides free temporary storage (up to 30 calendar days) for your shipment. By using this service your shipment can be “timed” to arrive at the specified destination at a convenient time for you. This delay period can also be useful to avoid undesirable weather conditions. Storage beyond the initial 30 calendar days will accrue at a rate of $3.50 per week per container.
