2009 WBSL Rules I. Player Conduct A. Lets keep the game FUN, maintain GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, and uphold a SAFE ENVIRONMENT for ALL. None of us are playing for a State Title or a Contract Extension. B. Harassment of officials will NOT BE ALL .

cooperate may lead to a technical foul or expulsion from the league with NO refund. C. Swearing will NOT be tolerated and will lead to a technical foul, we are trying to make it a nice family event, so let’s be grown men and keep it clean.

II. Team & Player Eligibility A. NO player under 18 years of age will be allowed to participate, and NO high school students are eligible to play. B. Rostered players must appear in at least 3 games during the regular season to be eligible for playoffs and must play in at least 4 games to qualify for the scoring and 3-point titles.

C. New players may NOT be added after Saturday May 16, 2009.

lll. Game Rules A. Each team is allowed three 45-second time-outs per half. Timeouts do not carry over from half to half. If overtime occurs a maximum of two Timeouts will be carried over with each team receiving ONE additional Timeout. The second and third overtime periods will not have Timeouts. B. A game shall consist of two 20-minute halves, with a 5-minute break between halves. There will be a running clock, except for the last 3 minutes of each half. For this 3-minute period, the clock will be stopped for all whistles. However, if a team is behind by 20 points or more at the 3-minute time point in the second half, the clock will not stop. C. In the case of a tie game, there will be an extra 5-minute, stopped clock period. If the game is still tied at the end of that period, the second overtime period will be 2-minutes with a stopped clock. The third overtime period will be sudden death, with the first team to score being declared the winner. D. Players will Foul Out after the 6th personal foul. Fouled-Out player(s) may NOT re-enter during overtime periods.

E. If a player receives a technical foul, he must be subbed out. A second technical foul will result in immediate ejection from the game. A player who is ejected from a game will not be eligible to play in the following game. F. Players Must wear official League T-shirts or a warning will result for their team. Each team is allowed only ONE warning during the season and after the second incident a team technical foul will be penalized at the start of the game (ALL players will still be allowed two technical fouls for the game). G. Teams will play with NO less than 4 players. If a team has 4 players and a player fouls out or is injured, the game is forfeited. Games will be played 4 players vs. 5 players at the start of the game and throughout the rest of the game. H. All other rules will follow standard PIAA rules and regulations. I. The WBSL President, Vice President, and Referees have final authority to make decisions pertaining to all WBSL rules and regulations.

IV. Playoff-seeding Tiebreaker Procedures A. Two Team Tie: Head to Head results will determine who wins the tiebreaker.

B. More than Two Teams: Season Point Differential will determine who wins the tie. If still tied than Head to Head Point Differential will determine who wins the tiebreaker.
