2009 Spring Mountain Bike Entry

Wednesday May 6th, Tuesdays May 12th & May 19th 2009 @ Lake Orion High School WHAT:

Spring Mountain Bike Races (Three separate races… Participants can do one or all of the races.) Race Sponsors: May 6 Main Street Bicycles 176 South Washington, Oxford, MI May 12 Rochester Bike Shop 426 Main St., Rochester MI May 19 Cycletherapy 3545 Elizabeth Lake Rd., Waterford MI (Rain Date Tuesday May 26)

WHERE:

Lake Orion High School located at 495 East Scripps Rd. in Lake Orion. Races will take place behind LOHS on Cross Country wooded and open trails and Bald Mountain Rec. Area trails (very hilly terrain).

RACE LENGTH:

A challenging 4-5 mile loop will be used Course may be modified to suit weather and trail conditions. Adult: Advanced: 2-3 loops Sport: 2-3 loops Citizen (Beginner): 1-2 loops Students: High School: 1-2 Loops Middle School: 1-2 Loops Elementary: 1 loop

REGISTRATION: Opens at 4pm

Race times: School Races 5pm to 6pm & Adult Races 6:30pm to 8pm Racers must sign liability waiver during registration. Parents must sign for under 18yr old riders. Registration will be held in the lower Natatorium Lobby located behind Lake Orion High School. ***Riders will have a mandatory bike safety inspection. Unsafe bikes will be excluded***

COST:

Early registration = $15 per race or $40 for all three races Or $20 fee day of race High quality official race T-Shirt will be given to all pre-registered entrants. AWARDS:

To Top 3 Finishers in each Class/Division. Student riders will also be eligible to win Cannondale Products
