WHAT: Mountain Bike Races Sponsored by Cycletherapy, 3545 Elizabeth Lake Rd., Waterford MI

Summer

(All Proceeds benefit Lake Orion Community Schools after-school programs)

WHERE:

Lake Orion High School located at 495 East Scripps Rd. in Lake Orion. Races will take place behind LOHS on school grounds, single tracks, and Bald Mountain Rec. Area trails (very hilly terrain).

RACE LENGTH:

A challenging 4-5 mile loop will be used. The course may be modified to suit weather and trail conditions. Divisions (Men’s & Women’s): Open/Advanced: 4-5 loops Sport: 3-4 loops Single Speed 3-4 Loops Citizen/Beginners & Students: 1-3 loops

REGISTRATION: Opens at 8:30am in the LOHS Lower Natatorium Lobby located behind the North End of LOHS Race times: Open/ Advanced/ Sport races start at 10am

Beginner/Student Races start at

1pm Racers must sign liability waiver during registration. Parents must sign for under 18yr old riders. ***Riders will have a mandatory bike safety inspection. Unsafe bikes will be excluded***

COST:

Early registration= Received before Thursday August 6th, 2009 Advanced/Sport/Single Speed= $20 ($25 Race Day) Beginners= $15 ($20 Race day) Students= $5-$15 Open= $25 ($30 Race Day) $20 of Open Entry goes to cash award Make Checks Payable To: Lake Orion Community Schools Riders can register online at: www.bikereg.com Type in Dragon GAP in the search box

AWARDS:

Medals to Top 3 Finishers in Advanced, Sport, and Beginner Divisions. Top 3 Open Men and Women receive % of Open Registration $-- 1st Place = 50% 2nd Place= 30% 3rd Place= 20%
