116th Annual Juried Exhibition Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati MAY 3 - 17, 2009 Woman's Art Club Cultural Center 6980 Cambridge, Mariemont, OH We strive to include diverse fine art disciplines produced by women 18 years and older from the tri-state area. The exhibit is selected from submitted art works, NOT SLIDES OR CD's. The Jurors will select the show, and award over $5,000 in prize money and merchandise. Artists will be notified if their work is accepted or declined by EMAIL OR PHONE. THE JURORS Ann DuCharme is the Education Director at the Baker Hunt Art Center in Covington, KY. She received her master's degree in Art History from UC's DAAP program in 2007, and serves on the board of the Kennedy Heights Arts Center. DuCharme is active in the Art History of Ohio Project (AHOP), an innovative educational tool being developed by art educators from the Mariemont City School district, for use in Ohio elementary schools. Sam Hollingsworth is a graduate of UC's DAAP program, with studies in the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He paints in watercolor and is a member of the Portrait Society of America, the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society and a signature member of the Cincinnati Art Club. He currently teaches painting at the Baker Hunt Art Center and art history at UC through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. He conducts workshops at the Cincinnati Art Club. April 27, 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., pick up declined work at WAC Cultural Center, Mariemont May 3, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. AWARDS RECEPTION at WAC Cultural Center, Mariemont Parking Shuttle available from parking lot at Madisonville Rd. and West Ave. (see map) May 7-10 and May 14-17 1:00 to 4:00 pm. exhibit on public display (Thursdays-Sundays) May 17, 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. and May 18, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., pick up unsold works at WAC Cultural Center

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS • You may submit up to 2 works. • One work possibly accepted for exhibition • Art must be for sale: no “NFS” • 20% commission to Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati on all sales • Size restricted to 52” width and height, including frame. • No computer-generated art • Art work must be RECENT work, NOT previously juried, completely original, and the work of the entering artist. FEES Members of WACC: $25 for 1st entry, $10 for second entry. Non-Members: $30 for 1st entry, $15 for 2nd entry.
