There was one company who did nothing but install telephone lines in your home and another person who just installed closet systems to keep you organized. There were ones for pet sitting, lawn maintenance, house cleaning, a guy who just fixes BMW motorcycles and even someone who would clean up after your dog in your very own yard! I'm all for people starting their own business and making some money, but does anyone do anything for themselves anymore? I mean cleaning up after your dog is a part of owning one, isn't it? I'm beginning to think we're all getting too lazy to do basic things for ourselves. Raking your own leaves and mowing the lawn is good exercise. It seems none of us get enough of that these days. Is it me or are we jobbing out much of our everyday lives?

Lowering the thermostat only causes your air conditioner to run longer, not to cool faster. And that’s a big energy waster.
