I would like an explanation from you about why you told me on 8/31 that this EPWU water quality data did not exist; and, I would like a full disclosure, under the honest services provision of the mail and wire fraud act and the TX Open records law, of EPWU records pertaining to contamination of the old upper American Canal. Please extend the date from 8/1/2006 to the current date, now. As this request is for the public good and not personal gain, I would like any fees waived. thank you, Heather McMurray El Paso, TX Bob Andron wrote: Ms. McMurry: This is to advise that, after consultation with the El Paso Water Utilities’ Chief Operations Officer and Water Systems Division Manager, there are no documents responsive to you Public Information Act Request. Dear Ms. Gutierrez, Please verify that the EPWU has absolutely no documents/information (phone logs/email included) pertaining to the water they are processing from the damaged old american canal (the liner is extremely damaged on the old upper American Canal, just before it passes beneath Paisano). I was assured at the recent IBWC meeting from many government-attendees that they drink City water without additional home-filtration systems, because they know that the water is o.k. - even after this major flooding and the event of the canal-liner-buckling/bending (passes over 24 million of Asarcocontaminated ground-water/dirt).
