Dear Mrs Cando: Peace and Goodwill! I am writing you on behalf of the Titus Brandsma Center - Media Program - the Carmelite Media Ministry in the Philippines and the Institute of Spirituality in Asia - a research-based institute for the scientific and academic study of Spirituality; both are Carmelite programs based in Quezon City. In relation to our conversation, we already agreed as to the date and time of our seminarworkshop, February 13-14. Please refer to below the session and activities that will conducted on those days: February 13: RECAP/REVIEW OF:  Teaching in the Multimedia Age - morning session  Media and Spirituality thru Film Dialogue - afternoon session February 14: TRAINING / WORKSHOP  More films to watch for the film dialogue training as a teaching strategy (exhibition of short films with “independent” film directors)  Group Activities / Teaching Methodology / Interaction and Dialogue on Classroom Situation and Set-up

The review and enhancement activities during the workshop proper are to be conducted by a team of five facilitators. Attached with this letter are the: 1.) TBCMP Brochure; 2) List of TBCMP Modules/ Courses and Local Partners; 3.) Roles and Tasks of Parties in the Joint Program; 4.) Program (subject to change if necessary) and 5.) Background of the Resource Persons. ROLES AND TASKS OF PARTIES IN THE JOINT PROGRAM A. Titus Brandsma Media Program (TBMP) and Institute of Spirituality in Manila (ISA) 1. Will take care of the transportation expenses of the Resource Persons; 2. Will facilitate the entire course; 3. Will bring/prepare laptop and LCD for power point presentation (in case they are not available in your school but if it is, we prefer to use the school/institution’s facilities). 4. Will take charge of the Board and Lodging of the Resource Persons.

B. Local Partner:

(For Davao City partners only)

1. Will invite participants to the course (a minimum of 35 to a maximum of 150 participants) from the partner school and other schools; 2. Will prepare the venue/room for the wholeday course (it is important that the room is closed preferably an Audio- Visual Room); 3. Will prepare DVD, VHS players and screen for film viewing; 4. Will prepare the sound system with auxiliary and microphones; 5. Will serve snacks and lunch to the Resource Persons; 6. Will design and reproduce the Certificate of Attendance to be given after the end of the course. The certificate will be given by the school in partnership with the Titus Brandsma Center- Media Program.

NOTE: This is a sponsored course by the TBMP & ISA’s international partners. However, if the local partner will charge a Registration Fee for every participant to subsidize its expenses (e.g. food of the Resource Persons, reproduction of certificates, etc.); the TBMP & CSM programs would like to have a share of 50% from the net proceeds of the Registration Fees to support the programs of TBMP & CSM. But if the registration fee will cover only the food of the participants, then the 50% net proceeds supposed to be for TBCMP and ISA is waived. Thank you.
