Week of September 28, 2009 Keeping Our Children Safe

Memory Treasures Due Wednesday#25 Proverbs 3:5 Due Friday5th Commandment “You shall not murder.”

Remember!! Every Night Check: 1. Student Planner and initial in box. 2. Take-Home Folder: If the paper has a “finish, fix, or homework” at the top, please have your child finish or fix it and return the paper the next day in their folder. Harvest Fest is on Friday, October 9 from 69PM. Come dressed-up or not, enjoy bounce houses, inflatable obstacle course, music by Apostles’ Band, food and fellowship with the people of Apostles and the community. There is a small admission fee $4 for children and $1 for adults.

You’ve taken the class and returned the forms, right?

Drop-in Parents Night is TUESDAY. It’s just an opportunity for you to come in the classroom and see what is going on and chat with me. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a time to meet with me. We don’t have to meet on Tuesday. I am not aware of anyone who brought in a paint shirt yet like I asked in last week’s newsletter. Please, have your child bring one in before our next art class on Friday. We will be working with paint that is NOT easily washed out of fabric.

Is your child in Children’s Choir? If so, we sing on Sunday at 8:45. Please, have your child in the 1st grade classroom by 8:30 so we are able to warm-up our voices and practice the song. Your child will sit with you and go to the front when it’s time to sing. Please be out on the tanbark during our warm-up and practice so they are easily able to find you when we’re done. Thanks!
