Energy Bureau Team Leader (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
DEPARTMENT:
Energy Bureau
LOCATION:
3rd Floor Connect Centre Portsmouth
REPORTS TO:
Energy Bureau Reporting Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Manage the day to day process of utility invoice validation within the Energy Bureau. Provide training and support to the Energy Bureau staff. Ensure Energy Bureau Procedures are adhered to. Resolve billing queries with suppliers. Produce data and reports for customers and other departments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: To ensure Bureau procedures are kept current and relevant. To ensure training plan for new and existing members of staff is kept current and relevant to the role. Provide high level support for issues with Utility Suppliers. Ensure Systemslink database is kept accurate and complete. Investigate missing invoices with suppliers. Client liaison including meetings at our clients sites. Ensure data and reports for customers and internal departments are produced in a timely fashion. Ensure key data regarding bureau performance is provided to Energy Bureau and Reporting Manager.
MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Utility Administrators Energy Bureau and Reporting Manager Energy Markets Contracts Accounting Accounts Payable Utility Providers Customers
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES: Previous experience in leading a team Experience within the utilities industry Ability to lead team in a pro-active manner. Organised and accurate. Good Mathematical skills. Computer Literate. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
