So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah), (Allah), And (in all sincerity) testifies to the Best -- We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss.
(The Night) In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
ََْ وَا ْ ِ ِإذَا
١ 1.
By the Night as it conceals (the light);
ََ وَاَ ِر ِإذَا
٢ 2.
By the Day as it appears in glory;
٣ 3.
َ ا "آَ َ وَاْ ُﻥ# َ ََ$ َ%َو
By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female --
'ََ ْ(ُ)َ ْ*َ+ ن ِإ
٤ 4.
Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse.
٥ 5.
َ.َ وَا/ْ0 َأ2َ% %َ َ3
So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah),
٦ 6.
And (in all sincerity) testifies to the Best --
٧ 7.
ْ َى5ُ ِْ =ُ ُ >5َ َُ5َ3
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss.
٨ 8.
ََْ'ْ+َ@ِ َ وَا7 2َ% %َوَأ
But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient.
٩ 9.
َْ5ُ6ِْ7 ق َ 9 َ:َو
َْ5ُ6ِْ7 ب َ " ََوآ
And gives the lie to the Best --
١٠
ْ َى5ُ*ِْ =ُ ُ >5َ َُ5َ3
10. We will indeed make smooth for him the Path to Misery;
١١
ِإذَا َ َدىFُ َُ% Fُ َْ0 Gُِْ َ%َو
11. Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit).
١٢
َى9َُْ َْ ََ0 ن ِإ
12. Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide.
َِ َ َة وَاْ ُو$Iَْ ََ ن َوِإ
١٣
13. And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.
Jََ َ َﻥ َ"رُْ)ُ(ْ ﻥَرًا3
١٤
14. Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely;
١٥
َ.َْْهَ ِإ اْ َﺵNَ َ
15. None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones
١٦
Oَ َب َو َ " َا"ِي آ
16. Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs.
١٧
َ.َْ َُْ اQَُ َ+َو
17. But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it --
١٨
آRَ َ'َ Fُ ََ% GِْSُ ا"ِي
18. Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification,
١٩
َىRُْ Uٍ َVْ*> ﻥ2ِ% =ُ 9َ ِ0 9ٍ ََ ِ َﺡ%َو
19. And have in their minds no favor from anyone for which a reward is expected in return,
٢٠
َْ0َ ْ اFِ >7 َرFِ ْْ'َِء َوﺝ7ِإ ا
20. But only the desire to seek for the countenance of their Lord Most High.
٢١
َZْ َ ف َ ْOَ5ََو
21. And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction.
