Materials List Water Color Paper: 9x12 block of 140# hot press paper (recommended: Fabriano Artistico ExtraWhite or Arches) and a full sheet to cut to size (recommended: Fabriano Artistico ExtraWhite or Arches) Paint Brushes: Numbers 2 and 4 sable rounds. The Winsor and Newton Series 7 is a good choice. Also the Raphael 8404 series. Sable brushes are preferred, however you may use any round brush in a similar size that you prefer. Palette: Recommended: Michael Wilcox watercolor palette (NOT the oil or acrylic palette). Other palettes you may wish to choose from are the Color Wheel Palette, or Lock Box Palette by Richeson. Paints: Boxed set of twelve Michael Wilcox watercolor tubes. Or see recommended list for other brands. Tubes only. Water Containers: Bring two, empty. Recycled plastic or glass containers with wide mouths work well Small Spray Bottle: for rewetting paints Paper Towels: bring a partial roll for wiping brushes or cleaning your palette. White cotton works well also, as in old T-shirts or sheets. Sketch Pad: 9 x 12 (or larger) inexpensive white drawing pad for exercises and taking notes Drawing Pencils: 2H, HB, and 2B drawing pencils Erasers: kneaded and/or white plastic Tracing Paper: pad or roll Note Kozo Fine Art materials (10 E.
