MUSLIM QUARTER Muslim Quarter has been a home to Chinese Muslims for over one thousand years. It located at the north of the Drum Tower. The main prayer hall was decorated as a traditional Muslim mosque
but its exterior is in traditional Chinese architecture It is well known for its local cuisine. There are hawkers selling furniture, silk, rugs, and wood carvings. The quarter is peppered with no named streets and small back allies that lead to hidden court yards and ancient residences.
