April 2009 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.

We’d like to introduce…

John 13:14-15

Volume 2, Issue 2

Lucy Jo Fay born March 31, 2009

Praise God for a healthy baby and momma!

Praise Him for an incredible February and March. We could feel His hand upon us while we were apart and saw Him working in mighty ways to build up our support team.

Pray for wisdom in the timing of the next few steps toward departure to France (see article on back).

Pray for us all as we get to know our newest family member and adjust to being a family of four.

Pray for our last few weeks speaking in Indiana, Illinois, and Kansas, that God would continue to raise up prayer and financial partners to sustain this ministry.

Lucy’s entrance into the world was full of twists and turns, with a relatively short labor up until pushing (which lasted 3.5 hours) before we all decided she might want to come out a different way. She was delivered by c-section with the help of some amazing nurses (and of course the Real Help from above). Baby and mom are doing very well and we are all feeling very blessed! Just a note: she will be baptized May 9th during the 6:30 PM worship service at Our Shepherd in Indianapolis for those who are in the area and would like to come.

A Very Important Sticker

Schedule for April and May

Visas might not seem like much as they are a just a simple sticker placed in your passport, but they are very important. They tell the government of the country you’re in how long you can stay and why you are there. We have begun the process of applying for French visas. It involves getting lots of paperwork to three different entities (the school we are going to attend, an organization overseeing education in France, and the French consulate). Soon we must schedule an interview and this is where things really get tricky. We are hoping to receive a long-term student visa, which we would receive very shortly after our interview. We would then have a three month window in which to arrive in France. If our funds are not adequate and we cannot leave during that three month window, we would need to apply all over again. Also, there is a possibility that the French government might not grant us the longterm student visa but rather a regular long-term visa. This involves an extra 4-5 months of processing time. Please pray with us as we schedule the interview that everything would
