Tim Writes  Wayne Lorimer spoke very well on Sunday for a first attempt at preaching from a Biblical text. He is just one of a number of very good preachers we already have and are developing in the parish. Each of whom is a real blessing to us. Well done Wayne. PETER CARRELL MOVING ON In late January 2010 Peter will complete his work as Ministry Educator for the Diocese of Nelson and begin a new appointment as Director of Education for the Diocese of ChCh. BISHOPDALE THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE At our last Diocesan Synod the following motion was passed: “That this Synod encourages the whole Nelson Diocese, including diocesan committees, parishes, vestries, clergy and parishioners, to get behind and support BTC in words, prayer and finance. Financially the Board are keen to enrol a further 400 ‘FRIENDS of BTC” to help ensure its future viability. LIZ GILLER Liz is a CMS Mission Partner in Pakistan working in the area of education and support. Currently the elementary co-ordinator at the Murree Christian school for expats. Liz will be speaking at our Runanga and Cobden services on the 29th of November.

Parish itself became a "Friend" this year and is encouraging of others wanting to support this initiative.
