You can t ake a bus going t o Jaddigadde. From t his Jaddigadde t he wat erfall is around 3+ km s dist ance. Though a m ot orable road is available walking is a pleasant experience.The height of t he wat erfall is around 200ft . A lit t le furt her away is a Ganesha t em ple in t he m iddle of t he river. This t em ple is on t he upst ream . To go t o t his place you will have t o t ake t he deviat ion before you st art walking down t he valley for t he wat erfall. The first st ep of t he wat erfall has an am phit heat er sort of set t ing where hundreds of people can sit and wat ch t he glorious wat erfall and feel t he m ist rushing t owards t hem . On t he ot her side aft er a serious clim b down you will get t o see t he ot her end of t he wat erfall. And t he last st ret ch of t his wat erfall can only be heard from here. I f you have a heart for clim bing you can clim b down t o t he edge of t he rock t o see it part ially. This one is a wonderful one. This could be a ideal t wo day spot .On t he way t o Kum t a from Siddapur aft er Kyadagi ( 1+ km s) you will get down at iLim ane cross and t ake a walk for 5+ km s t o reach t he wat erfall. One of t he num erous wat erfalls of t he West ern Ghat s. This beaut iful wat erfall is at few kilom et ers dist ance from t he place Yana. Along wit h t he t wo huge rocks t here is one m ore lim est one rock st ruct ure ( which is quit e sm all in size com pared t o t he giant s) in t he vicinit y. When asked a localit e said t he wat erfall got t he nam e as Vibhoot i falls because of t his Lim e St one rock nearby. Once t he Vaddi ghat s are over you can feel t he hum idit y of t he coast al Karnat aka ( Coast is few hours j ourney from here) . One will have t o t ake a deviat ion at a place called Mabagi. From here t he wat er fall is around 3km s dist ance. Though one finds few houses nearby t he t ent age and food are t he it em s one should pack.

When we visit ed t his wonderful place we gave a visit t o Yana also. To our horror we saw roads under const ruct ion t ill t he foot hill of t he Giant rocks. I n our previous visit s we enj oyed walking on a sm all pat h in t he t hick woods t o t he place. One could not have im agined t hat t here would be a road som et im e in fut ure t o Yana. Road for a four wheeler. We believe it won’t be long we have all t he facilit ies of a picnic spot . Why people are so fond of facilit ies? Ot her places of int erest nearby are : Yana, Unchalli Falls, BeNNe hoLe Falls.

This is t he place where t he river Sharavat i falls from a height of 292m form ing a glorious wat erfall. The river form s four different t racks which are nam ed ’Raj a’, ’Rani’, ’Roarer’ and ’Rocket ’ which are nam ed apt ly by t he m aj est y t hey display. This place can be reached from sa ga r ( 30+ km s) , sidda pu r ( 21km s) or h on n a v a r ( 60 km s) . When you are com ing from Siddapura t ake a right t urn at a place called " Mavinagundi" which is few km s before j og. ( You wont get t his place if you are com ing from sagar) . And t here are a few places where you can st ay overnight . These places are run by KSTDC. When t he wat er is less you can act ually walk down t o t he bot t om of t he wat er fall, but be careful, t hat broken Beer bot t le m ight hurt you. Bad news is t hat such easily accessible nice places are always crowded and crowded wit h " picnic going" crowd. Already t his place is being spoilt .
