Reflection of the last sale Operation: more people should do Chinese calligraphy; work should be equally shared HR: Sales should do more promotion during sale; ordering of goods can be encouraged I.T.: An in-depth study of the market should be carried out since the target market for each sale is different
Sales: Sample of Chinese calligraphy, e.g. greetings, can be made so that customers can choose from the sample, less time is then needed for production; better communication is needed among our group Marketing (Heidi): Promotion strategies are needed Marketing (Rachel): Products which cost less should be obtained for the coming sales to increase profit Finance (Cherry): More focus should be brought on Chinese calligraphy Finance (Phyllis): More frames for Chinese calligraphy should be made before the next sale Sec.: More promotions are needed, jobs allocation should be more careful – work should be equally shared among group AMD: Start building up stock to minimise problems when the next sale comes MD: A production target should be set every week to build up stock before next sale; better estimation of costs should be carried out before sale
4. Possible products Ones that went through voting – 11: 0 - Hand-made hair clips decorated with beads (sample would be made first) - Beads bracelets - Decorated note books (poss. mass production by photocopying)
