1. Full of Educational Value.  Emily switched schools when  we moved off­base and attends  the first grade.  Brandon goes to  pre­school three times a week;  Nathan has been learning how  to draw, share, and be a big boy.  Jacob has been learning to put  himself to sleep.  Paul has been  teaching high school French and  English, and Jill has been  teaching our 4 kids everything  they need to be superheroes.  2. Provides Lots of Energy.  We got to visit family in Ohio  over the summer, where Emily  picked blueberries and Brandon  helped Grandpa on the tractor.  They got to visit the county fair,  even entering a frog­jumping  contest.  In Okinawa, the family  went to a butterfly park (where  butterflies land on you!) and a  pineapple plant (with lots of  free samples).  3. Multi­grain Spiritual  Goodness.  Paul was a second  counselor in the branch  presidency, while Jill held  various music callings and  website administrator callings.  Emily, Brandon, and Nathan  love going to Primary and  participating; and Paul’s mom  was able to be here for Jacob’s  blessing in December.  4. Keeps You Awake.  And  Jacob can single­handedly keep  you up at night!  Since he was  born on November 28 th , he has  been gradually adjusting.  He  weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces.
