Writing the review of a film
The following points will help you organize your ideas:
A review gives you background information of the film: title, name of director/producer, starring, type.
It gives you the main points of the plot in chronological order.
It doesn’t tell you the whole story.
It doesn’t reveal the end of the story.
It should contain personal comments/opinions.
It gives information about the film’s weaknesses and strengths.
It uses passive constructions, a variety of adjectives, complex sentences and is usually written in the simple present tense.
